SHEIKHUPURA: As many as seven militants, who were going to target Lahore, were killed whereas three fled away as the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an operation near Sheikhupura on Sunday.
The operation between the militants and CTD was carried out in Chak Rasala 4 area where a firing exchange also took place. The CTD recovered hand grenades, three Kalashnikovs, four pistols, hundreds of bullets and three motorcycles.
Explosives and detonators were also found along with the maps of different places of Lahore and Sheikhupura. The militants were affiliated to a banned outfit.
