JAHANIAN: Veteran politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that the world is mired in the vortex of violence and terrorism and salvation from these evils lies in adhering to teachings of saints.
While addressing a concluding ceremony of Urs of renowned spiritual saint Hazrat Makhdoom Abdul Rashid Haqqani here on Saturday, Hashmi said that this region remained cradle of peace and people kept on drawing spiritual strength from saints and Sufis as long as they remained attached to them.
“If the world wants to get rid of terrorism, people should read life history and teachings of saints which impart lesson of love for humanity free from sectarianism, ethnicity, colour, and rich and poor divide,” he said.
